This tool allows you to obfuscate or scramble your email address to hide it from email-harvesting robots.

The tool works by converting random characters of your email address to their equivalent numerical representation (in a variety of ways). This makes it more difficult for robotic scripts to extract your email address from the page source code.

After entering the details into the form and clicking the submit button, the tool will generate cut and paste code for your web site (click on the code to highlight it).

A test link is provided which, if clicked, should open your email client with the recipient email added. Alternatively hover your mouse over the link to see the mailto url in your browser lower status bar.

It is not very secure but it is useful since very few web pages use this method of hiding emails and the assumption is that most email harvesting robots will not recognize this encoding scheme. Post your comments on this tool below.
